Watching you from afar

sets my heart afire

for no one knows 

how much I love you.

Pretending to be only 

friends with you

telling you how I love

watching you grow.

Pretending to be proud

to see you explore

the world of love

with your young heart.

How I wish you know

how my heart yearns 

to let you in and 

sit upon it's throne.

If only you know 

how many lonely nights

I spent thinking and dreaming

to be with you.

But we both know that 

this shall and can only

be a beautiful dream

but painful reality.
