117. ALWAYS IN MY HEART
Encased in a silver box
encrusted with love crystal,
securely tucked in the secret corner
of the fourth chamber
within the stronghold
of my beating heart....
There you stay forever and ever
Until the oceans run dry
Until the birds cease to fly
Until the stars burn away
Until the night no longer change to day....
There you shall stay for eternity.
For you are mine and mine alone
For you were, you are
and you shall
ALWAYS IN MY HEART!

116. OHRID - THY LAKE BECKONS
Lay thee in peace as I leave thee
For I shall remember thy great beauty
Wait thee for me for I’ll return
To be near thee, please wait for me
So deep thy waters, mysterious yet calm
Untouched by wastes, unscathed by industries
I’d wish for thee to remain pure and chaste
For in thee I found my God and inner peace
Ohrid, thy lake beckons to me
I shall return with greetings and love
To breathe thy air and be carefree
And thank The Almighty God above

115. LAKE OHRID
In one brief moment
your smile won me over
your touch re-assured me
that I'm still capable
of reciprocating
a man's love
Your eyes are reflection
of the blue waters
of Lake Ohrid
which bore witness
to the brief time
our hearts met
Your calm and humble being
brought me to my knees
in a land I once dreamed of
And I thank you
for being there
for caring
I came, I saw but I did not
conquer you, Macedonia!
Instead I left behind
my heart somewhere
over there by the
Lake Ohrid

114. BORROWED TIME, BORROWED WORLD
Not by chance nor by coincidence
From the spark of His fire has she come
Born to her mum and to her dad
To leave a mark on the pages of life
To bring joy to the hearts of those who know her
To be a lover, a companion, a friend, a wife
To the man who has chosen her
To be the mother to his children.
Life in this world is a privilege
A nursery, a school, a work place
A test of strength, wit and will
All on borrowed time
And she thanks Him, The Almighty Heavenly Father
For the chance to make a difference
No matter how trivial or small
In this borrowed world.
