Dear Apple Tree,

You are my Tree

I came from thee

I’m part of thee

For it was from thy side that I have come

And thy tree was once my home 

Of course I care for you

I hope you care about me too

For you were my shelter

Under the cruel weather

Though I’m now afar

You’re still my star

To light up my way

From dark night till day

So do take care

I’m here to share

Your joy and sorrow

And an uncertain tomorrow

You are my Tree
