6. OUR SEPARATE WORLD

When it is morning at your place
I would be sleeping in my night
When it's dusk while you rest
Mine is dawn of breaking light

Our love has so much to conquer
The laws of nature the clockwork of the sun
While I am in my deepest slumber
You are awake full of life and fun

I'd be strolling on the beach
Wrapped by the early morning dew
You'd be just retiring to bed
Thinking of me and my love for you

How can we find the time to talk
To hear whispers of love so true
To catch the sun rays and take a walk
That brief moment to reach out to you

I wish we're birds with wings to fly
Across the oceans and over the sea
Over the hills, mountains and sky
To be united - just you and me

While it's so sad but it is true
This love of ours across the miles
When it is time that I meet you
Our world of love is worth the while
