When you came into my life
With your smile and laughter
I thought I was the luckiest man alive
When you lay your head
On my chest
I smelled your hair
When you put your arms around my neck
I kissed you
When you whispered my name softly
I buckled at my knees
When you slept in my arms while watching TV
I watched your eyes fluttered
When you declared your eternal love
I thought I’d die
I have given you my heart and my body
My life, my soul, my time and my money
Because I love you, and ONLY you
Then you left me and now all that’s left
Of me is
A SINGLE TEAR
rolling down my cheek….
